What we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may receive your name, telephone number, email address, property/location details, service requirements, messages, technical request information, and information you choose to provide in AI chat or AI Call Handler interactions.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Enquiries and quotations: to take steps at your request before a possible contract.
- Providing services: to perform a contract with you.
- Business administration and security: legitimate interests in record-keeping, preventing abuse, handling complaints and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations: where records or disclosures are required by tax, accounting, insurance, court or regulatory law.
- Direct marketing: only where PECR and UK data-protection rules permit it, with an appropriate opt-out.
AI assistant and AI Call Handler
The website uses automated AI services. Chat text, voice audio/transcripts and relevant enquiry context may be processed server-side using OpenAI. AI reply text may be sent to ElevenLabs to generate speech. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to start an AI call. Do not submit payment-card numbers, passwords, access codes or unnecessary special-category information.
AI outputs can be wrong. Important facts, quotations and contractual terms must be confirmed by the business.
Sharing and international processing
Data may be handled by web hosting, email, security and AI technology suppliers, professional advisers, insurers, contractors involved in the requested work, or public authorities where disclosure is legally required. Where suppliers process data outside the UK, the business should use the transfer mechanism and safeguards required by UK data-protection law.
Retention
Enquiry and customer information should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, quote, resulting contract, accounting/insurance requirements, complaints or legal claims. Different records may have different retention periods.
Your rights
Subject to the law and applicable exemptions, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and rights relating to automated decision-making where applicable. Contact the business using the details above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
